Cortlandt Town Board to Meet at Town Pool Monday

It's an annual tradition

The Cortlandt Town Board will hold its meeting Monday at the pool. The town pool, that is — weather permitting.

Having a summer meeting at the pool is an informal town tradition, Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi said.

"We try to do one a year in the month of August," she said. "We like to be at our lovely pool facility."

The Charles J. Cook Pool is located at 293 Furnace Dock Road. The board work session is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Now the board will meet a second time next week— on Tuesday, at Town Hall. Among the items on the agenda are a public hearing on water and sewer districts for Mill Court Crossing; status report on the Sprout Brook Ashpit; and the proposed commercial anchorages in the Hudson River.
