Danielle Daly Wins Award for Excellence in Patient Care
HRHCare Talent Acquisition Specialist Danielle Daly Receives Planetree Award for Excellence in Patient Care

HRHCare Community Health is pleased to announce that Danielle Daly, Talent Acquisition Specialist from the HRHCare Human Resources Department in Peekskill, has been awarded the July 2016 Planetree Spirit Award for Excellence in Patient Care. The HRHCare Planetree Institute presents these awards to employees who go above and beyond to make health care more personalized and create a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Joining HRHCare as a Human Resources Assistant in early 2015, Danielle Daly was quickly tapped to work in talent acquisition for the organization due to her friendliness and professionalism in dealing with everyone both internally and externally. With her primary responsibility being to source, attract and recruit prospective employees, she is often the first point of contact for job candidates and other community members seeking information on HRHCare. In a recent demonstration of her compassion and foresight, Danielle listened carefully to a young woman from an assisted living facility interested in volunteering opportunities at the HRHCare Health Center at Beacon. Although she is only obligated to pass the candidate’s contact information along, Danielle took the time to write an impassioned plea on the young woman’s behalf so that the managers of the Beacon Health Promoter program would know what an asset she could be to their team. Taking the time to make sure a candidate’s abilities and interests are matched appropriately with the right team makes all the difference for both the individual as well as the organization at large.
“Danielle consistently responds quickly, professionally and supportively whenever information is needed,” said Eileen McManus, HRHCare AVP of Operations. “I am certain that Danielle’s Planetree spirit will continue to enrich colleagues, candidates and community members across the organization.

When asked about her experience at HRHCare, Danielle replied, “The mission of HRHCare is one I will forever hold dear to my heart. The dedication, focus and exceptional accessibility for those underserved and vulnerable run so much deeper than just a visit to one of our Health Centers.” Danielle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace University, Pleasantville, where she consistently made the Dean’s List and was a member of the National Honor Society. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, working out and spending time with her family. She is a former volunteer at the Blythdale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla as well as a softball player and Irish step dancer.
