Delaware Man Charged with DWI in Cortlandt

New York State Police charged Fizal M. Rahman, 31, of Wilmington, Delaware, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Following a traffic stop Jan. 10 for failure to maintain his designated lane of travel, Rahman was found to be driving while intoxicated, police said.

Rahman provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Cortlandt Court on Jan. 22.
