Domestic Dispute Leads to Assault, Resisting Arrest Charges
A Cortlandt man is accused of striking a woman during an argument.

New York State Police arrested Jaquae K. Henry, 20, for Assault 3rd Degree and Resisting Arrest, both misdemeanors.
Troopers were dispatched to a Cortlandt residence for a 911 hang-up call. When they arrived on scene, they observed two people engaging in a verbal domestic dispute. An investigation revealed that Henry had struck the victim in the face, causing her injury, prior to police arrival. When troopers attempted to place Henry under arrest for assault, he actively resisted.
The Cortlandt resident was arraigned in town court in front of Judge McCarthy where he was sent to the Westchester County Jail on $2,500 Cash bail or Bond. He was scheduled to reappear before the Cortlandt Court on July 13.
