Entergy to Move Indian Point Emergency Ops to Fishkill

CORTLANDT, NY — Entergy plans to consolidate its emergency operations facilities for Indian Point in Fishkill.

The company has had an Emergency Operation Facility at the nuclear power plants in Buchanan, and a mandated Alternate EOF at its office in White Plains, the regional headquarters for Entergy Nuclear Northeast.

The lease is expiring in White Plains, and of course Entergy is getting out of the nuclear merchant market.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission must approve the relocation of a nuclear power plant's Emergency Operations Facility.
