Is it Autism? - Community Lecture

"Is it Autism?  The Road to Achieving the Right Diagnosis and Treatment for Your Child" is the subject of a community education program on Tuesday October 23rd at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Westchester Division from 7pm-8:30pm in the hospital's Auditorium.


The program will be presented by Catherine Lord, PhD, Director of NYP’s Center for Autism and the Developing Brain.  Dr. Lord is a clinical psychologist, she co-developed some of the key diagnostic tools to help clinicians recognize autism in individuals of varying ages, and chaired the National Research Council’s Committee on the Effectiveness of Early Intervention in Autism.  She also is a member of the DSM5 Neurodevelopmental Disorders Committee.
