Join us for the 5th Annual Fun Walk hosted by Hudson River Health Care. The theme of this year’s Event is “Let’s Move” and will feature a 1 mile Fun Walk in Downtown Peekskill that will begin and end at Pugsley Park. On-site registration for the Fun Walk begins at 8:30 am, and the walk kicks off at 9:30 am. Our guest emcee is Kacey Morabito, of WHUD Radio, who will encourage and energize the walkers. The purpose of the walk is two-fold: to get the community moving more on a daily basis and raise awareness of organizations that are making a difference with their efforts to help out with hunger, food security and wellness in a holistic manner. After the Fun Walk the public is invited to experience a variety of free wellness activities including workshops (Tai Chi, Acupressure and Food demonstrations) and take advantage of free health screenings for cholesterol, glucose/blood sugar and blood pressure. The activities will be held at the Hudson River HealthCare Center in Peekskill, 1037 Main Street.
