Frank G. Lindsey School Gets Fundraising Recognition
Leads all schools in Westchester for Heart Association fund drive

During the first week of February of this year Frank G. Lindsey students in the Hendrick Hudson School District celebrated National Go RED Day by holding a student fundraising event that culminated in a school wide sing-along assembly on February 7. Fifth-grade volunteers, under the direction of Alex Levine, Susan Burke-James, Carol Lynn Schulman and Susan Feldman, sold raffle tickets to raise a school-record amount of money for the American Heart Association’s Women’s Heart Health and Research project: $1,045.00.
Principal Donna Torrisi recently received news that Frank G. Lindsey achieved the distinction of fundraising leader for all Westchester County schools.
In recent years the “GO RED” fundraiser has become a Frank G. Lindsey tradition that has been acknowledged by the American Heart Association for its annual contribution. For more information visit GoRedForWomen.org.
