Gas Prices Continue Downward Trend in Cortlandt, Hudson Valley

You aren’t seeing things. Gas prices are still low and seem to be getting lower in many areas.

According to the AAA, the national average for regular, unleaded gasoline has dropped to $2.1 per gallon, over the last 35 out of 36 days.

The reason behind the declining prices in most of the country is that gas supplies are abundant and crude oil costs continue to decline.

For New York, the current average price for regular, unleaded isn’t as cheap as the national average.
But still, it’s $2.371 now when it was $2.912 a year ago.
