Get to Know Your Local Farmer's Market: Healthway Farms

Healthway Farms of Highland, NY is one of the market's original vendors, and they continue to offer a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to their customers.

How many years at the market: Rhonda has been attending the market for 13 years, and before that her husband, who was one of the original farmers at the 19 year-old market, ran their booth.

What they like about the Peekskill Farmer's Market:

“It’s my favorite market,” said O’Brian. “I have a lot of regulars and the people are all so friendly. There’s a feeling of real community between all the vendors and customers. I’ve seen kids grow up.”

“It’s good for people to know where their food is coming from,” said O’Brian.

The farm, which has a few green houses, is best known for the more than 35 varieties of potatoes grown on their premises.
