Hen Hud Athletes Honored at 64th Annual Con Ed Sports Award Dinner

Morgan Loh, Aidan Datene are Scholar Athletes

On Wednesday, June 3, Hendrick Hudson High School’s Morgan Loh and Aidan Datene, were honored at the Con Edison Scholar Athlete Sports Award Banquet. Each of them received the prestigious Con Ed Scholar Athlete Award during the Fall 2014 athletic season.

Morgan Loh was a senior All-Section Volleyball Player for head coach Diane Swertfager on the Hen Hud varsity volleyball team. She will be attending SUNY Binghamton in the fall to continue her education, where she hopes to play club volleyball.

Aidan Datene was an All-Section midfielder for head coach Chris Cassidy on the Hen Hud varsity soccer team. He will be attending Emory University in the fall, where he will continue playing soccer.

The banquet was held at The Renaissance Hotel in West Harrison. At the reception, 36 student-athletes from Westchester County were also honored. The evening was sponsored by Con Edison and the moderator for the night was hall of fame baseball and basketball announcer, Bob Wolff.
