Hen Hud Freshman Nominated for Theater Award
Melody Munitz selected for her role in 'Seussical'

IIt’s time for the 2015 Metro Awards -- the high-school equivalent of the Tony – in which schools from Rockland, Westchester, Putnam and Bergen counties can enter the running and have judges attend their dramatic and musical performances.
There are a record 46 high schools taking part this year, with more than 1,300 students to evaluate. Hen Hud freshman Melody Munitz is a nominee for the Best Acting in a Musical award. Munitz played the part of Jojo in the acclaimed Hen Hud production of “Seussical the Musical.”
Choral Director Erica Denler and Starboard Stars drama club advisor Clare Carey were both thrilled by the news.“Mrs. Denler and I are so proud of Melody and the entire cast and crew of ‘Seussical.’ We could not ask for a better actress to represent our school and we look forward to celebrating with Melody and the Munitz family on June 1st,” Carey said.
