Hen Hud H.S. Now Certified for Biomedical Education

Project Lead the Way review results in new certification

Hendrick Hudson High School Principal James Mackin shared some exciting news on June 5th: “I am very excited to announce that Hendrick Hudson High School is now a certified Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Biomedical School (we are already a certified PLTW Engineering School).”

During her site visit Carolyn Malstrom, representing PLTW, was very impressed with all the components of Hen Hud’s program, especially the students. The students she met personally were Jazz Munitz, John (Jack) Briggi, Christina Kennedy and Scott Glaser. Congratulations to these students, and to PLTW Biomedical Science teachers Jeanine Hall and Stephanie McQuade, for a job well done.

Mr. Mackin noted that Hendrick Hudson is thrilled to be participating in a program that is such a great opportunity for our students.
