Hen Hud is Part of the Nov. 15 Holiday Wellness Fair
Student SADD Clubs will be there to offer prevention messages

On Saturday, November 15, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Hendrick Hudson School District will be an active participant in the Holiday Gifts, Crafts & Wellness Fair, being held at the Cortlandt Town Center, 3131 East Main Street, Mohegan Lake, in the UA Cinema Entrance Lobby. Sponsored by the Town of Cortlandt, the Cortlandt Community Coalition, and the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce, the Fair will feature more than 40 vendors, demonstrations, and activities—including jewelry, photography, crafts, custom apparel, home décor, and more. Admission is free.
Members of the Blue Mountain Middle School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) Club will be making stress balls to give out to fair-goers. The Hendrick Hudson High School SADD Club will be working with fair-goers on Fatal Vision Goggle activities to stress the importance of not driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol. And, at 1:15 p.m., there will be a Calendar Launch Party to celebrate a new Prevention Poster Calendar featuring the artwork of Students from Blue Mountain. Free calendars will be available.
For additional information on the event, contact Colleen at the Town of Cortlandt at 914-734-1052.
