Hen Hud Teacher Honored By Project Lead The Way
The science educator was named Project Lead the Way Outstanding Teacher.

From Hendrick Hudson Schools: Hendrick Hudson High School science teacher Jeanine Hall was recently recognized as a Project Lead the Way Outstanding Teacher at PLTW Summit, the organization’s national conference.
PLTW is a nonprofit organization serving millions of K-12 students and teachers in over 10,500 schools across the United States. Through PLTW programs, students develop STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) knowledge as well as in-demand skills they will use in school and on any career path they take. High school Principal Anthony Giovinazzi nominated Hall for the honor. “Jeanine engages and inspires her students, helping them make connections between the classroom and the medical field,” he said. “She takes the PLTW program to another level, providing her classes with guest speakers and field trips that open students’ eyes to potential college and career opportunities.”
Senior Emily Guida, a student in Hall’s Biomedical Innovations class this year, said, “Mrs. Hall’s classroom is constantly changing, as she finds new and improved ways of engaging with her students and steering towards what she sees we like and benefit the most from. I could not have had a better experience with PLTW in my high school career, due to her constant support and guidance.”
