Hendrick Hudson Student Singer Wins Talent Contest
Noelle Carlson's operatic performance charms the judges

Noelle Carlson, a junior at Hendrick Hudson High School, was the proud winner of a recent talent contest held at the Galleria Mall in White Plains.
The event was sponsored by Berkeley College, and Noelle received a prize package from the mall and the college.
There were many styles and types of singers at the event, but when offering up the Grand Prize, the judges remarked that they “had never heard a voice of that caliber from a 16-year-old.” Noelle, who specializes in opera, studies vocal music privately with Juilliard-trained Alison Tupay at The Cortlandt School of Performing Arts, and will be singing with the Westchester-based Taconic Opera company next season. Congratulations, Noelle!
