Peekskill improved to 3-2 by winning at Pawling 5-3 on April 16 according to MaxPreps.com.

Roberto Hiraldo led the Red Devils with three hits with Cody Glickert, Kevin Slocum and Nick Soto registering two hits apiece.

Soto was also the winning pitcher, striking out 10, allowing just one earned run in a complete-game effort. 

Panthers Win

Walter Panas defeated visiting Ossining 17-2 on April 17 as reported by Debbie Schechter on the LoHud Softball Blog.

Morgan Bogardus went 4 for 4 with three triples and four RBI and Amanda Ragusa went 1 for 2 with a 3-run home run for the Panthers. 

Sailors Victorious

Rob Cristino reported on the blog that Hendrick Hudson's softball squad won at Pawling 11-4 on April 16.

Cassidy Boyle had a huge day for the Sailors, going 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and three RBI while teammate Julie Gaspar went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and two RBI.
