Key to Awesomeness: These 16 students are honors students in the study of Italian language and culture and are being recognized for their merit. They are role model students who have never had any disciplinary problems in school. They consistently earn high grades in their Italian studies and excel in the field.  The Societa Onoraria Italica was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Italian to stimulate interest in the study of Italian language and culture.

The inductees will be honored at the April 12 ceremony and part of their membership in the society will include giving back to the community by tutoring students in Italian studies.
