Introduction to Coding for Teens
Wednesdays at 6:00PM: April 8 & 15 at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library
Computer programming isn’t as scary as it sounds and learning to code is a major trend among teens. The Ruby programming language is easy to understand and the most popular language among web developers. In this workshop, you will learn how to combine Ruby methods into your own interactive programs. Attendees can use either one of the library’s laptops or bring in their own. Prior to the workshop, instructions will be emailed for installing both Ruby and a text editor onto your laptop. For teens grades 6 – 12. Limited registration begins March 25 - call 914-739-5654.
