Japanese Calligraphy

Wednesday, January 13th at 6:30PM at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library

Japanese Calligraphy is influenced by Zen thought; each stroke and each character is a reflection of the calligrapher’s own spirit. In this beginner class, participants will learn basic strokes by using a bamboo brush and black ink, then complete Japanese letters combining different strokes. Registration begins December 28 - call 914-739-5654. $2.00 material fee due by January 11.
