Kashmir Moves Through Downtown Peekskill This April

On Saturday, April 11th, the nation’s #1 Led Zeppelin tribute show, Kashmir, returns to the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater once again after a successful appearance last May 2014.

Kashmir is renowned for offering up the most authentic representation of Led Zeppelin on the modern national touring scene. The band features Jean Violet (Robert Plant) on Vocals/Harp; Andy Urban (Jimmy Page) on Guitar/Theremin; Paul Cooper (John Bonham) on Drums; Felix Hanemann (John Paul Jones) on Bass/Keyboards. Each of the 4 band members assumes their individual role with pinpoint accuracy. Kashmir’s show features Page’s iconic double-neck guitar, Bonham’s drum solo, the stage show of the era, and most importantly, the greatest hits that have made up the soundtrack to peoples’ lives for four decades.

“When Kashmir played at the Paramount Theater last Spring, fans were blown away by the true Led Zeppelin experience this band delivers,” says Paramount CEO Kurt G. Heitmann. “We couldn’t be happier to welcome them back to our stage.”

This year marks the 40 year anniversary of Led Zeppelin’s 1975 album Physical Graffiti, which was recently reissued in expanded form, and sold 40,248 copies in its first week of re-release to land at #11 on The Billboard 200 chart. The expanded three-disc reissue of Physical Graffiti features remastered versions of such classics as “Kashmir,” the song from which the tribute band takes their name.

The band Kashmir is celebrating a milestone of their own as 2015 marks their 15th year on the road together. Originally a NYC/NJ Tri-state area band, they will play over 80 dates this year all over the United States.
