Lake Peekskill Woman Faces Felony DWI Charge

Therese T. Kreiser, 55, of Lake Peekskill, NY, faces a felony charge of Driving While Intoxicated.

At 11 a.m. Nov. 13, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks were dispatched after a report of an erratic vehicle traveling on Oregon Road.

A short time later, they saw a vehicle failing to obey a stop light.

Troopers stopped the vehicle on Oregon Road and the driver identified herself as Kreiser. Police said their investigation revealed that she was intoxicated at the time of the stop. Kreiser was charged with Felony DWI when a license check revealed that she was previously convicted of a DWI offense in 2010.

Kreiser was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets ordering her to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court Nov. 24.
