Leandra's Law DWI for Montrose Mom
When police stopped her on Route 9A at 6 a.m. Jan. 1, she was driving and her husband and two kids were in the car.

A New York State Police officer who was patrolling on State Route 9A in Cortlandt at 6 a.m. Jan. 1 watched a 1996 Honda failing to stay in its lane and conducted a traffic stop.
The Trooper’s investigation revealed that the vehicle operator, Yaditza Caceda, 33, was intoxicated and was operating the vehicle with husband and children, ages 9 and 6, as passengers.
The Montrose resident was placed custody and transported to the SP Cortlandt Barracks where she submitted a breath sample of .13 percent.

She was charged with Felony DWI Leandra’s Law (a felony for having a child passenger under the age of 16) and failure to maintain lane. She was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Cortlandt Court on Jan. 12.
