Jerry Nappi is sorely mistaken in his assertion that the PSR is spreading misinformation. [SEE: Pipeline Foes Give Tour Near Indian Point to Concerned Medical and Disaster Experts]

As you can see on page 17 of this Entergy document, it clearly indicates that the path of the new pipeline will run 105 ft from the "Switchyard" and 115ft from the GT2/3 fuel tank. Both of those structures are labeled as SSC ITS which is an acronym for safety related structures, systems, and components (SSC) important to safety (ITS).

While the pipeline is indeed approximately 1,500 feet from the reactors at Indian Point, it is dangerously close to these safety related structures, systems, and components important to safety- namely the main power source from the plant (switchyard) and the fuel supply for the backup generators (fuel tank).

I should hope Mr. Nappi would be able to tell the difference. Please, sir, heed your own advice and do not spread misinformation refuted by your own company's assessment.
