What is a museum to do between exhibits? Have a Live Arts Fest! Join over 20 artists, painters, musicians, sculptors, dancers, and performance artists for a day of live art making!

Imagine the excitement of watching the creative process unfold right before your eyes, as works of art are created from start to finish on one winter afternoon. Engage with professional painters, welders, sculptors, potters, dancers, and spoken word artists as they make works of art, step-by-step, with your participation!

Not only will the artists be sharing and showing us their methods, but we will also get to participate in the movement of dance, help make a clay book, and work with paint brushes among other engaging artwork activities—directly with each artist!

This is family friendly festival that was a great success last year. This year’s line up of local and regional artists will be coming soon. Special art activities for young artists are included.

In the “performance ring”, spoken word artists will get a lesson in sharing in the allure of the open mic, dancers will perform. Young visual artists will have fun activities and expert instruction all day long.
