Manhattan's Iconic Bridges

For the first time in a half-century New York is building a new bridge. Manhattan’s first bridge - the wooden King’s Bridge opened in 1693. Today, 20 bridges link the island to Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and New Jersey. Join author Kevin Woyce, and discover how and why the most famous bridges were built, including the High Bridge of the Croton Aqueduct, the Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg, Queensborough, Triborough, and George Washington Bridges.
