Memorial Day 2017: VA Hudson Valley to Hold Ceremony in Cortlandt
The guest speaker at each event will be a Gold Star Mother who is involved in several veterans volunteer groups.
MONTROSE, NY – VA Hudson Valley Health Care System will conduct its annual Memorial Day ceremonies in both Castle Point and Montrose.
The first will take place at 2 p.m., May 24, at the Castle Point campus memorial garden, 41 Castle Point Road, Wappingers Falls, New York 12590. The second will start at 10 a.m. May 25 at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Montrose campus sculpture garden, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548.
The guest speaker at each event will be Gold Star Mother Renate DeAngelis, who is actively involved in various Veteran volunteer groups and was awarded the 2013 Woman of Distinction by NY Sen. William Larkin.
