Men Saying: Yes to The Harvest & Yes, We Can!

(Peekskill, NY) Calling on all males to come together for the upcoming Men’s Convocation to be held, Friday October 16 thru Sunday October 18, 2015. A weekend of inspiration, information and fun is being hosted by the Brother to Brother Ministry under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert E. Young, Senior Pastor at Mt Olivet Baptist Church (MOBC) in Peekskill. The theme is “Men Saying YES to the Harvest” which is taken from Matthew 9: 38 “therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest”. This is a call to action, a call to work and a call men to serve in the midst of life’s demands and challenges. Embrace this call for unity in the community! • Friday, October 16: Convocation Kickoff – All Male Worship Service 7 pm. The invited Guest Celebrant is Reverend Amin Flowers, Senior Pastor of Life Church and Ministries, Baltimore, MD along with the special offering of Song & Dance by the Men’s Convocation Choir & Liturgical Praise Dancers.

• Saturday, October 17: Heart Healthy Brunch & Basketball Tournament 10:00 am to 1:00 pm A morning for fun, food and facts. Men and boys of all ages can be informed; benefit from smart foods, useful health tips to help your body and mind. All activities take place at the Summit, at 1424 Park Street (directly across from MOBC)

• Sunday, October 18: Worship for All! 10:45 AM Worship Service will culminate the Men’s Convocation. Be blessed as the men lead in a spirit filled worship. Guest Celebrant: Reverend Dr. Carl Washington, Senior Pastor of New Mount Zion Baptist Church of Harlem, New York will deliver a powerful word.
