No Tornado, But Up To 2 Inches Of Rain In Wednesday's Storms
More storms are possible Thursday evening. They are ushering in lovely sleeping weather.

So the Hudson Valley didn't get a tornado during Wednesday's wide sweep of thunderstorms. One touched down in New Jersey.
What the Hudson Valley got was a lot of rain as the storm cells, while sporadic, dropped water at a great rate. The largest amount was measured in Rockland County: 2.47 inches in Spring Valley. Many other places recorded more than an inch.
