Victims In Deadly 3-Vehicle Crash On Bear Mountain Parkway ID'd By State Police
The Saturday morning crash in the Town of Cortlandt involved two drivers from Westchester, and one driver from Orange County, police said.

TOWN OF CORTLANDT, NY — An early morning three-car crash has taken the life of a Westchester County man.
The New York State Police say that troopers responded to the the Bear Mountain Parkway, in Cortlandt, betwen Locust Ave. and Arlo Ln., on Saturday morning, around 5 a.m., after receiving a report of a three-vehicle collision.
An investigation by the NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Cortlandt and the NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit determined that 28-year-old Darly G. Bravo Coello, of Yorktown Heights, had been driving a Subaru west on the Bear Mountain Parkway when the vehicle crossed over the double yellow line and collided head-on with a Honda driven by 54-year-old Charles D. Mooney, of New Windsor.

The Honda was then pushed off the road onto the northern shoulder of the Bear Mountain Parkway, according to state police.
A Toyota driven by 44-year-old Manuel S. Pauta Zhingri, of Peekskill, was traveling east on the Bear Mountain Parkway when it collided with the stationary Subaru, according to investigators.

State police said Coello exited the Subaru after the collision, and was then struck by the Toyota. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mooney and Zhingri were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
NYSP say the investigation into the collision is ongoing.
