NYSPHSAA Announces Scholar-Athletes; 13 Red Devils Make the List
To be recognized as a NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete, a student must maintain a 90.0 or greater GPA.

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) recently announced its winter 2018 Scholar-Athlete teams and individuals.
To be recognized as a Scholar-Athlete team, 75% of a team’s roster is required when computing a team’s average GPA, which must be 90.0 or greater. To be recognized as a Scholar-Athlete, a student must maintain a 90.0 or greater GPA. Peekskill is proud to congratulate the following students on being named Scholar Athletes for the 2018 winter season, and welcomes them to the District’s “Team 90” club:

"We are extremely proud of our winter season's scholar athletes," said Peekskill Athletic Director Adam Lodewick. "Our Team 90 members/NYS Scholar Athletes are model students for Peekskill's Athletic program and for our younger student-athletes to follow. They exemplify the hard work and determination it takes to excel both on the field and in the classroom, while demonstrating to their peers that it is possible to do both. We look forward to their continued successes and to having more of our student athletes join their rank this spring season."
