Boys playoff hoops
No. 2 Peekskill's boys basketball team will be hosting No. 10 Brewster tonight (see below schedule) in the Section 1 Class A quarterfinals.

The winner of this game will go onto the sectional final four, which will be played in all classes Feb. 27-March 4 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.

Ice-hockey playoffs

No. 10 Hendrick Hudson took on host No. 7 Horace Greeley in the opening round of the Section 1 Division 2 ice-hockey playoffs Feb. 20 at the Brewster Ice Arena with the Quakers winning 5-3.
While it's certainly sad to see a season end, it was a great accomplishment for the Sailors to qualify for the sectionals and play such a competitive postseason contest in their first season as a Section 1 program.

Pump track
The City of Peekskill is looking into having a pump track.
After group of local volunteers from the Westchester Mountain Biking Association offered to help the City of Peekskill build a pump track in the area, city staff had to do some research to understand what a pump track is and how it is made.
