Panas Grad Headed To Broadway Visits the District
Anthony Medina, Panas graduate, stopped by to visit his old high school and middle school prior to his opening in Hamilton on Broadway
We all remember the yearbook section containing the "Most Likely To" lists. The 2007 edition of Panas' book, Paw Prints, was a crystal ball into Anthony Lee Medina's future as he was named Most Likely to Be Famous.
Now on the brink of his Broadway debut in March, Medina, a 2007 Walter Panas High School graduate, stopped by to visit his old high school and middle school recently (January 26) to talk to students about his career in theater. He spent four hours answering questions, discussing theater, and talking about his journey to this point in his life.
Anthony will begin his Broadway debut in March as part of the cast of Hamilton. He starts rehearsals on Tuesday, Jan. 31, but took time out to meet with and answer questions from members of the school's theater group, Panas Players. He then traveled to Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School to speak to a group of young actors as well and students from Lakeland High School. He is expected to join the Hamilton cast.
