Panas, LHS Musicians Named to 2019 Area All-State music ensembles

Eleven Walter Panas and Lakeland high school music students has been accepted into the prestigious 2019 New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Area All-State music ensembles.

NYSSMA divides New York State into 15 zones. The district's zone is 11, which makes up all of Westchester County. Zone 11 is typically one of the more competitive zones throughout the state. Students who are selected for Area All-State are among the top musicians of their zone; our 11 selected students are highly talented individuals who will perform a concert at SUNY Purchase at 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 7.
