Panas Students Honored in Science Competition

Four Freshmen from the school's Science Research Program were recognized as Honorable Mention Winners Exploravision competition.

Congratulations to Four Freshmen from Walter Panas HS
Four Freshmen from the school's Science Research Program (Jocelyn Peryea, Riti Bhandarkar, Nicole Chiulli, and Erik Creighton) were recognized as Honorable Mention Winners in the 2015-2016 Toshiba/NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) Exploravision competition.

The Honorable Mention award placed the team's project among the top 10% of all ExploraVision projects submitted to the competition this year.

"Your students are commended for a job well done in demonstrating innovative thinking in their exploration of science and its impact on technology and the future," said the Acacia McKenna, Director, Science Education Competitions for the National Science Teachers Association.
