Paramount Hudson Valley Arts Presents Free end of Summer Jam Out September 12th

Paramount Hudson Valley is to launch their first ever end of Summer Jam Out which will feature an out door street festival on Brown Street with food an artisans from the Hudson Valley , an October Fest beer garden sponsored by Bertolini and Sons and random acts of music highlighting the best local talent in the Hudson Valley Region . On the Paramount main stage four headlining jam bands TAUK, Dj Logic, Yardsale and Gedeon Luke and the People will perform making for a full day to jam out. Street festival and random acts of music begins at noon and the Paramount main stage kicks off at 2pm. All events are free and sponsored by Paramount Hudson Valley Arts. Donations to support the arts are always welcome.

DJ Logic

Since his emergence in the early nineties amidst the Bronx hip-hop scene, the New York City based DJ LOGIC has been proving the theorem of turntablist as musician, with jazz as his foundation. LOGIC has become a wax innovator by crossing genres and sprinkling his sound across the map. As one of the world’s most accomplished turntablist’s, DJ LOGIC is widely credited for introducing jazz into the hip – hop realms. LOGIC can always be found paying homage to his predecessors while contributing his vision to the deejay genre.

TAUK

TAUK brings Heavy Instrumental Rock Fusion created by Matt Jalbert (guitar), Charlie Dolan (bass), Alric “A.C.” Carter (keyboard-organ), and Isaac Teel (drums). The transcendent instrumental band seamlessly brings together genres as diverse as melodic rock, fusion, gritty funk, progressive rock, ambient, classic rock, hip hop and jazz. This Oyster Bay, New York-based quartet has received accolades from a number of tastemaking authorities, including an “On The Verge” feature in Relix Magazine and frequent rotation for the singles “Mindshift”, “Dead Signal” and “In the Basement of the Alamo” on Sirius XM Jam On.

Gedeon Luke and The Peopl

Bringing vibrant, funky, passionate soul from the purest of places, soul music flows through Gedeon Luke’s veins in rainbow colored hues. Weaned on the gospel infused sounds of Sly Stone, Curtis Mayfield and Al Green and inspired by the rock ‘n roll passion of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, Gedeon is here to crash through the boundaries of music and society, to bring Love, Peace and Soul to the world.
