Casin-Silva to compete at states in Verona

Lakeland/Panas runner Carolina Casin-Silva will compete in the Class A state cross-country championships this Saturday in Verona.

Cortlandt Youth Football League results

The Kwick-Mart Giants beat the the American Staffing Packers 20-6, while the Cortlandt Cowboys blanked the Edward F. Carter Colts 12-0. And the Dain's Lumber 49ers and Eastern Oil Raiders played to a 6-6 tie on Nov. 5.

Former Red Devil Dennis and Temple victorious on gridiron

Former Peekskill player and current Temple Owl offensive lineman Derek Dennis and his Temple teammates defeated visiting Miami of Ohio 24-21 on Nov. 9.
