All three local teams played in the outbracket round of the Section 1 Class A boys tournament.
Walter Panas blanked visiting Poughkeepsie 2-0. Scoring for the Panthers was Doug McKim and Tom Marino. Making three saves in goal was Steven Toro.

Hen Hud lost at Riverside 3-2 in overtime. Rob Carey made eight saves and scored with teammate Nick Bucci also registering a goal.
Peekskill lost at Somers 7-1. Marco Quiroga scored for Peekskill with Axel Castillo registering nine saves.
Volleyball
Hendrick Hudson begins its quest for its 12th straight sectional crown under its coach Diane Swertfager today in the Section 1 Class B tournament.
