Peekskill High School Gets New Principal

He comes from the City School District of New Rochelle where he was an assistant principal.

Peekskill, NY — The Peekskill City School District has a new high school principal.

In a Facebook post, the district said that Rodney Arthur will now serve as an instructional leader and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the high school.

Arthur, who has been in education field for 22 years, comes from the City School District of New Rochelle, where he has been for the last eight years, serving most recently as the assistant principal at Albert Leonard Middle School.

In the past, he has worked in the Hendrick Hudson School District and the New York City Department of Education.

Arthur has a master’s degree in education from Binghamton University and a professional diploma in supervision administration from Long Island University.
