Peekskill Man Gave False Name to Troopers at Crash
He was arrested after an accident on I-87 in Newburgh.

State Police were called to a 2-car accident on the New York State Thruway at Exit 17 at 4:12 p.m. May 30.
Police allege that during the investigation the driver—later identified as Willie B. Wilson, Jr., 39, of Peekskill— provided the trooper with another person’s real name.
Once identified, Wilson was transported and processed at state police barracks in Newburgh where he was charged with:

Wilson was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Newburgh Court on June 9.
