Peekskill Open Studios 2015

Peekskill’s Open Studios weekend invites you to step inside the artist’s studio! Get your map with studio locations and events at the Jan Peek Gazebo, N. Division St. and Park St. See visual and performing arts by more than 100 artists in their studios, performance spaces and other special exhibits throughout the booming City of Peekskill, NY artist district. Free transportation and guided tours available. Enjoy music & dining in the bustling cafes and restaurants at night. Peekskill Open Studios, now in its 18th year, is brought to you by the Peekskill Arts Alliance.

Sneak Peek of Open Studios - Fri, June 5th from 6-9PM

Kickoff party & exhibition  at the Paramount Hudson Valley, Peekskill. Find a sampling of art by each artist opening their studio at the upstairs art gallery. On stage will be snippets of performances by the Wizard of Oz and the Kiley Center Children’s program. Upstairs will also be poets reading about art and creating. Come enjoy refreshment, get $1 off at the concession, and get a “Sneak Peek” of the action packed weekend to come!

3 Special Exhibits of PAA members will be open for this event:

· WCC Gallery – Peekskill artists located outside of Downtown or “Off the Beaten Track” will be showing their work at the Westchester Community College gallery located at 27 North Division Street, Peekskill, NY. Opening reception, June 4th from 5:00-7:30PM.

· Paramount Hudson Valley – Open Studios Kickoff Party with a “Sneak Peek Showcase” on Friday, June 5th, 6-9PM. Enjoy our party showcasing an exhibit with examples of works to be found in each participating artist’s studio plus poetry and performance on stage.

· Truck Stop Gallery – Our 2nd year of portable art galleries parked in the center of Peekskill with creative and exciting exhibits of PAA artists who work just outside of Peekskill’s downtown.
