Peekskill Police Warn of New Phone Scam
A caller pretending to be from the city water department demands immediate payment.
A scam that has been moving through communities in Westchester and Rockland counties has hit Peekskill, and police posted a warning on Facebook and a request to report any such calls to the department at (914) 737-8000.
