In commenting on the award, NYCOM President Thomas Roach stated: “The City of Peekskill is to be commended for this excellent example of a community taking advantage of its natural assets. This award recognizes that local officials have been and are continuing to work diligently to improve their communities and the quality of life for their residents in innovative and efficient ways.
