Peekskill Rotary Club & Gullotta House Give the Gift of Music
85 Children to See Classical/Rock Violinist Daisy Jopling in Holiday Concert

The Rotary Club of Peekskill donated $1,500 to the Daisy Jopling Foundation so that 60 children can attend a live musical stage performance of the Daisy Jopling Band Holiday Show on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Paramount Hudson Valley, 1008 Brown Street, Peekskill, NY. This donation comes at the same time Matthew Gullotta from the Gullotta House donated $600 for 25 children to see the show. The Foundation is seeking other donors to underwrite tickets for other children. “The generosity of the Peekskill Rotary Club and the Gullotta House is overwhelming and will benefit so many children. The gift of music changed my life and gave me the opportunity to travel the world. On my recent concert tour in China, I saw how music builds bridges and unites diverse cultures, so we are seeking other donations so that more children can experience a live musical performance,” said Violinist Daisy Jopling, who is also a Rotarian. Jopling received the Rotary donation from Dr. Ronald Worth, Rotary Club President. Other donors interested in purchasing blocks of tickets so that more children can see the concert are encouraged to contact Chereese Jervis-Hill, Events To Remember at EventsCJH@EventsRemember.com or by calling 914-218-3968. The sponsored tickets will allow the children to see a professionally produced live concert with Jopling on the violin, Brian Taylor on flute, Brian Marsella on piano/keyboards, Lavondo Thomas on bass and Matt Zebroski on drums. Special guests include 11 year old soloist Yahli Hilah, the ever popular Gabrielle Sansone, the amazing Joni Blondell, the phenomenal Gerry Cruz, the magical Westchester Youth Choirs and the adorable Tom Thumb Preschool Choir. The concert will feature a mixture of classical, world and rock music, including original compositions to new spins on holiday favorites. Jopling's last concert was sold out in advance and fans had to be turned away at the door. To purchase tickets, call 914-739-0039 extension 2, or visit www.paramounthudsonvalley.com. Purchasers of 10 tickets or more at one time will be invited to a special VIP Pre-Show reception, an opportunity to meet Jopling in person and receive exclusive memorabilia from Daisy's six-week China Tour.
