Peekskill School Board And City Council To Meet Jointly

PEEKSKILL, NY — Members of Peekskill's Common Council and Board of Education will meet Thursday as the two governing bodies hold a joint session. The agenda includes a discussion of nitty-gritty work such as a fence around Oakside Field to make outdoor recess safer and dealing with pedestrian essentials such as crosswalks and snowy sidewalks.

The two boards will also discuss collaborating on grant writing for environmental projects, such as recycling, solar compacting garbage cans and solar breezeways, event collaboration with Parks and Recreation; and parking at the Parent Center and at Oakside School.
