With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out. With this thought in mind, the Peekskill City School District has committed to providing free meals to children during the summer.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Peekskill Schools, to provide free meals to children when school is out for summer vacation. This year, meals will be served at Peekskill Middle School, Dunbar Heights and the Kiley Youth Center from July 5 through August 5, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

There are no income requirements and no registration is necessary. Any child under the age of 18 may come to eat. For more information, contact (914) 737-3300 Ext. 303. or visit: http://www.peekskillcsd.org/domain/787.
