Peekskill Senior Finalist For Presidential Scholars Program

PEEKSKILL, NY — A Peekskill High School senior is one of 25 state seniors nominated as a finalist from the Presidential Scholars Program. Valentina Loaiza, who has a GPA of 99.69 and ranks first in her class, said the nomination was an amazing opportunity to represent her school.

If chosen, Loaiza will go to Washington, DC to participate in a ceremony sponsored by the White House, the Daily Voice said.
