Peekskill Stabbing Victim Refuses To Press Charges: Report
The attacker and victim know each other, the police chief told the Peekskill Post.

PEEKSKILL, NY — The victim of a stabbing in the Park Street/ Nelson Avenue area sought medical attention but has declined help from police, according to the Peekskill Post.
Peekskill Chief of Police Eric Johansen told Post editor Bryan Fumagalli that the victim and the attacker were both Peekskill residents, young men who knew each other. "The fact that he doesn’t want to cooperate with the police investigation, especially since our officers were quick enough and intuitive enough to figure out who did it, is frustrating," Johansen said, according to the Post.
They are not students, Johansen told the Post, correcting some social media reports.
