​Peekskill Storm Preparedness​

The City of Peekskill wants to remind residents to adhere to the Winter Parking Regulations and remain safe.

From the City of Peekskill: In preparation for the upcoming Winter Storm, the City of Peekskill wants to remind everyone to adhere to the Winter Parking Regulations and be safe -- if you do not have to drive, please stay off the roads.

Warming Center: Based on need, the City will keep the Neighborhood Center open during the storm Wednesday as a Warming Center until 10:00 pm. Going forward, the City will make the Neighborhood Center available as needed.

Please contact the Peekskill Police Department at its non-emergency number, 914-737-8000, with regard to the Warming Center or if you require a place to stay overnight.

The Field Library will be open unless public schools close. Regular hours for the Library are as follows: Mondays through Thursday – 9:00 am to 9:00 pm; Fridays – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturdays – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Sunday – 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Power Outage Update: Con Edison has restored power to the majority of the City and is working towards 100% restoration.
