Peekskill Swears In New Police Officer

PEEKSKILL, NY — Peekskill police proudly announced the addition of the newest member of the force.

Police Officer Emmanuel Carter began his career with the Peekskill Police Department Oct. 9.

Officer Carter spent the past two years as a police officer with the Albany Police Department where he gained valuable learning experiences. He has other emergency responder experience, having also worked for the Spring Valley Ambulance Corps as an EMT for about four years.

"We wish Officer Carter a long, successful and illustrious career here with the Peekskill Police Department," officials said on Facebook.
